1. Service Description

SG Finance Tracker is a Telegram bot with a free tier and optional paid plans (Plus, Pro) that helps you track personal expenses. It integrates with Google Sheets to store your financial data in a spreadsheet you own, and uses AI to provide financial insights and receipt scanning.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the SG Finance Tracker bot, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the bot and request deletion of your data.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You must have a valid Telegram account to use the bot.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the expense data you enter.
  • You must not use the bot for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the service.

4. Subscription Plans

The bot offers a free tier with core expense tracking features and usage limits. Optional paid plans (Plus and Pro) provide additional features, higher limits, and AI capabilities. Details are available on our Pricing page.

  • Paid plans require a monthly subscription. Billing, cancellation, and refund details will be provided at the time of purchase.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
  • Feature availability and usage limits may differ between tiers and are subject to change.

5. Google Account Access

The bot requires access to your Google account to create and manage a finance tracking spreadsheet. By authorizing Google access, you acknowledge that:

  • We will create one spreadsheet in your Google Drive for expense tracking.
  • We will only read from and write to that specific spreadsheet.
  • You can revoke access at any time via your Google account permissions.

6. AI Features

The bot includes AI-powered features (Ask AI, receipt scanning, and automated weekly insights). By using these features, you acknowledge that:

  • AI responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. You should not make financial decisions based solely on AI-generated responses.
  • Receipt scanning uses best-effort OCR. You are responsible for verifying extracted amounts and descriptions before confirming.
  • AI features use third-party services (Google Gemini, OpenAI). See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
  • AI feature usage is subject to monthly limits based on your subscription tier.

7. Referral Program

The bot offers a referral program where you can invite friends and earn bonus AI queries. By participating, you agree that:

  • Referral bonuses are subject to change or discontinuation at any time.
  • Abuse of the referral system (including creating fake accounts or self-referrals) may result in account suspension and forfeiture of bonuses.
  • We reserve the right to modify, cap, or remove referral bonuses without prior notice.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the bot available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The bot may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Data Ownership

Your expense data belongs to you. It is stored in your own Google Sheet, and you retain full ownership and control of it. We do not claim any rights to your data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the bot will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, financial decisions made based on information provided by the bot, AI-generated responses, receipt scan accuracy, and automated expense logging.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the bot for any user who violates these terms or engages in abusive behavior. You may stop using the bot at any time and request deletion of your data.
